We are situated on a green slope on the shore of Lake Malawi, only ten minutes walk from the bustling town of Nkhata Bay and five minutes walk to the sandy shores of Chikale Beach.

   In a small bay just outside the town of Nkhata Bay you get the best of both worlds, the peaceful, scenic setting of a friendly place to relax and enjoy a good meal or go snorkeling in the crystal clear waters, while still being in easy reach of busy little port of Nkhata Bay where you can experience all the facets of Malawian life at its best.

   Mayoka Village is well known on the travelers circuit for its great atmosphere which is a combination of its friendly staff, the homely, comfortable surroundings which are culturally and environmentally sensitive and the lively bar where you can meet the locals and listen to live music.

   We are very proud of our restaurant which has a great reputation for quality and value for money. We have a big menu offering a wide variety of food to suit all tastes, all cooked using fresh local produce and herbs from our own garden.
